Biography
Dr. Jesse Tallyen is a clinician, researcher, and educator focused on substance use treatment systems and client engagement. He earned his Doctor of Social Work from Delaware State University, where he serves as an adjunct instructor. His clinical experience includes substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment across numerous settings. He also brings lived experience in recovery to his understanding of treatment systems. Tallyen’s scholarship explores office-based treatment, rural social work, and interactions between treatment systems and communities. His work has been published in the Delaware Journal of Public Health, and he has presented and conducted trainings on addiction treatment and system development.
