Logan Collins recently earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Georgia Southern University and is a first-year student in the PhD program in Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies at Texas Tech University. While earning her bachelor's, Logan minored in public health to focus on addiction and recovery in Georgia. Her previous research includes an honors undergraduate thesis that examines substance use in relation to Georgia’s declining shrimping industry and its broader community impact. Logan has spent the last year and a half working with a local recovery community organization in Statesboro, GA, implementing the organization's first program evaluation and developing an internship program. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Prevention Project and the National Steering Committee as an emerging leader for the Center for Addiction Recovery Support.
