Stoked On Life Palm Beach
Stoked On Life Palm Beach (SOL) is a nonprofit organization founded by Allison Bishop-Berner, LCSW, dedicated to promoting, providing, and researching aquatic and Blue Health–based interventions to improve mental health and support recovery from substance use disorders.
Based in Palm Beach County, Florida, SOL is an evidence-based organization with published research examining the impact of its Blue Health programming. SOL integrates evidence-informed behavioral health practices with therapeutic experiences in and around water, including surfing, paddleboarding, swimming, and other aquatic activities.
Through partnerships with treatment centers, veterans’ organizations, behavioral health providers, and community agencies, SOL provides accessible Blue Health programming while advancing research, professional education, and Blue Health certification. Its mission is to expand access to innovative, nature-based approaches to mental health and recovery while continuing to build the evidence base for Blue Health as an adjunctive behavioral health intervention.
